Mamie Lucille Mefford, 88, of Lincoln, died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at
7:55 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Lincoln-Mamie Lucille Mefford, age 88, of Lincoln, Il. died at 7:55 A.M.
May 6, 2012 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in
Lincoln, Il.
Mamie was born February 25, 1924 in Cloverport, Kentucky. She was
married to John Logan Mefford in 1945 in Tennessee. He
preceded her in death. |
Mamie is survived by one son, William (Cheryl) Roy
of Lincoln, Il., 2 grandchildren and 4 great
grandchildren, 2 sisters, Anna Louise (Glen)
Hamilton of Cloverport, Kentucky and Mary Ellen
Payton of Pontiac, Il.
Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1
brother.
Mamie was cremated and burial will be at a later date in
Kentucky. There will be no services.
