[May 12, 2012]  Last Monday, West Lincoln-Broadwell Elementary had its annual appreciation assembly for teachers. The event is organized by the Parent-Teacher Organization.

Teachers were honored for their dedication and years of service. The red-carpet style event used a favorite teacher craft material: construction paper.

Teachers were escorted across the gymnasium floor by a student, with thunderous applause by those in the bleachers. One by one, the teachers received a small paper star with their name on it.

The following is the list of teachers and teacher's aides who were honored by the students and the principal.

  • Becky Maxwell, preschool
