Orville Eugene Boyd, 70, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012,
at 9:45 p.m. at Bella Vista Care Center in Peoria Heights.

Lincoln- Orville Eugene Boyd , 70, of Lincoln passed
away on Wednesday, May 16. 2012 at 9:45 p.m. at
Bella Vista Care Center in Peoria Heights.
Graveside Services for Mr. Boyd will be held on
Monday, May 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Harmony
Cemetery in rural Beason, Illinois with Father Dave
Klug officiating.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from
5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral
Home in Lincoln.
Orville Eugene Boyd was born on February 16, 1942 in
Lincoln the son of Donald and Lucille Ollis Boyd.
He is survived by his children: Greg (Meg) Boyd of
Waterville, Maine, Robert (LaVonna) Boyd of
Lincoln, Tammy (Ron) Miller of Bethlehem,
Pennsylvania, Rhonda Coers of Normal.
Also surviving are two brothers: Ray Boyd of
Bloomington, Don "Ted" Boyd of Leroy, and several
grandchildren. |
 He was preceded in death by his parents, two
brothers and one sister. He was a self-employed
truck driver and also drove a
semi for Boise-Cascade in Lincoln.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for you to send
flowers to your loved ones.
Memorials may be made to the
First Baptist Church of
Lincoln.
