Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Monday afternoon, with soybeans and wheat higher and
corn lower.
Wheat futures were supported by
weekly export inspection figures being above trade expectations
totaling 24.9 million bushels along with the USDA announcing the
sale of 100,000 metric tonnes of US wheat to Iraq.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids mostly 6 cents lower at 6.44-6.55.
Soybean bids traded mostly 4 to 8
cents higher at 13.85-13.98.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 3 to 6 cents lower at 6.51-6.71.
Soybean bids were mostly 5 to 8
cents higher at 13.94-14.04.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 3 to 6
cents lower at 6.61-6.83.
Soybean bids were 8 cents higher
at 13.98-14.20. Wheat bids were 4 to 7 cents higher at
6.81-7.04.
