            		ATLANTA -- Paul E. "Slick" Gordon, 64, 
			of Atlanta, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at 10:22 a.m. at his home.  (Below is a copy of 
							the obituary from the funeral home.) ___ 
							Atlanta - Paul E. "Slick" Gordon, 64, of Atlanta, 
							passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012, at 10:22 a.m. 
							at his home in Atlanta. 
							A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 
							p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Quiram-Peasley 
							Funeral Home. 
							Cremation rites will be accorded.  
							Paul Edward Gordon was born December 16, 1947, in 
							McLean, the son of James and Velma Smith Gordon. He 
							married Janet Naffziger on February 9, 1984. She 
							survives. 
							Surviving Mr. Gordon are his wife, Janet, of 
							Atlanta; four daughters: Kim (Davey) West of 
							Waynesville, Tammy (Matt) Bode of Atlanta, Misty 
							Snyder of Pekin and Gina Small of Bloomington; four 
							sisters: Kathryn Marlett, Irene (Ben) Melton and 
							Connie (Paul) Moran, all of McLean and Louise Tuggle 
							of Clinton. He is also survived by nine 
							grandchildren: Rondy Craig, Zachary Craig, Cody 
							Ruff, Skyler Grill, Joshua Paul Gordon, Ashton 
							Griffin, Brody Snyder, Abbi Bode and Audrey Small; 
							and 3 great-grandchildren: Hunter, Kennedi and 
							Hannah. | 
                 
		 
							He was preceded in death by three brothers: Charles 
							"Bussy" Gordon, Cecil Gordon and James William 
							"Silent" Gordon; and by his parents. 
							Paul had been employed by PPG and then worked at 
							local taverns as a bartender. He also served our 
							country in the U.S. Army. 
							Memorials may be made to the family. 
							Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley 
							Funeral Home. |
