Leo McIntosh, 78, of Lincoln, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at 10:45
a.m. at his home.

Lincoln- Leo McIntosh, 78, of Lincoln passed away at
10:45 A.M. on Monday, May 28 2012 at his home
surrounded by his whole family.
Leo was a retired factory laborer.
Leo was born on December 3, 1933 to Curtiss and
Elizabeth Hayes McIntosh in Hazard KY. He married
Cathy Butler on June 15, 1984 in Jacksonville, IL.
She survives in Lincoln. Other survivors include:
children; Ronald McIntosh of Lincoln; Rosanna
(Michael) Terry of Austin, IN; Owen McIntosh of
Lincoln; Tyson McIntosh of Lincoln; Diane (Nick)
McKeever of Edwards, IL; Curt McIntosh of Lincoln,
IL; Katie McIntosh of Decatur; and Sean McIntosh of
Lincoln; mother-in-law: Beulah Butler of Versailles,
IL; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and
many close cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister in
infancy, and 2 sons in 1976, Jeffrey and Michael
McIntosh.
Leo’s whole world was his family, grandchildren, and
gardening. Leo loved his "Cat" as he called his
wife, and his family was his greatest joy. Leo loved
to joke with family and friends.
Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June
1, 2012 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home,
Lincoln with Dr. Robert Kurka officiating.
Visitation will be two hours prior (4:00-6:00 p.m.)
Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a
later date. Memorials may be given to the family.
