 More than 150 British cars are expected at this popular annual event
organized by the Illinois Flat Land British Car Club. In addition to
Aston-Martins, this year's featured marque, there will be plenty of
MGs, Triumphs, Austin-Healeys, Jaguars, Lotuses, Minis and cars from
other English manufacturers. A vintage MG racecar in which kids
can sit and parents take their photographs will be available, and a
free seminar will be presented by Barney Gaylord, the MGA guru.
An informational booth will be set up from the Bloomington-Normal
Cancer Center, as June 3 is National Survivors Day.
The festival will include a luncheon tent staffed by Boy Scout
Troop 20. Treats from Uncle Bob's Homemade Ice Cream from Eureka
will be available. Music will be provided by "Bones" Bach during the
lunch hour.
The day will conclude with an awards ceremony at 2:30 p.m.

 A donation of $5 per person and $10 per family is requested of
those who attend the event.
The suggested donation, as requested by the David Davis
Foundation, provides admission to the grounds, a tour of the David
Davis Mansion and the heritage garden.

The David Davis Mansion
State Historic Site, administered by the Illinois Historic
Preservation Agency, was built in 1872 for Supreme Court Justice
David Davis and his wife, Sarah. The site is open Wednesday through
Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for public tours.
