Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Wednesday afternoon.
Speculative and fund selling at
the Board of Trade weakened grain futures.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids mostly 2 to 3 cents lower at 5.76-5.89.
Soybean bids traded 14 to 15 cents
lower at 13.46-13.59.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 3 cents lower at 5.78-5.92.
Soybean bids were mostly 8 to 14
cents lower at 13.55-13.75.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 2 to 4
cents lower at 5.75-6.08.
Soybean bids were 9 to 12 cents
lower at 13.60-13.78.
Wheat bids were 3 cents lower at
6.27-6.49.
