Alderwoman Melody Anderson checks out her new, used laptop Tuesday evening in the council chambers at City Hall. The aldermen are all receiving the good, used laptops with wireless capability, courtesy of a grant-gift from State Farm Insurance's corporate offices in Bloomington. The city received the laptops through the efforts of city police Chief Ken Greenslate. Alderman David Wilmert is working to get them all programmed for the aldermen's use.
