Phyllis L. Deavers, 83, of Lincoln, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at
4:20 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Lincoln- Phyllis L. Deavers, 83, of Lincoln passed
away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 4:20 a.m. at
Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Deavers will be held on
Friday, November 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the
Jefferson Street Christian Church in Lincoln.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of
service.
Burial will be in New Union Cemetery in Lincoln.
Phyllis Laverne Deavers was born on March 3, 1929 in
rural Logan County the daughter of Samuel and Lottie
Whiteman Banister. She married William H. Deavers on
February 23, 1955 in Springfield. He preceded her in
death in 1978.
Surviving are one son: Robert Deavers, one step
daughter: Debbie Bradburn both of Lincoln, two
sisters: Kathryn Voyles of Hartsburg, Vivian Skelton
of Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Vernon
Banister, Charles Banister, three sisters: Evelyn
Ware, Deloris Armour and Darlene Skelton.
