Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Thursday.
Grain futures followed outside
markets lower on generally negative economic news.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids mostly 3 to 6 cents lower at 7.00-7.15.
Soybean bids were 17 to 23 cents
lower at 13.70-13.88.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 3 to 7 cents lower at 7.13-7.27.
Soybean bids were 16 to 21 cents
lower at
13.84-13.97.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 2 to 5
cents lower at 7.05-7.37.
Soybean bids were 10 to 18 cents
lower at 13.87-14.17.
Wheat bids were 4 to 7 cents lower
at 8.25-8.41.
