Saturday the Lincoln Jaycees hosted their annual Senior Feast at the Masonic Lodge in Lincoln.

The Jaycees have been offering the Senior Feast for the past six years, serving about 120 meals each year. The Masons donate the use of their space to the Jaycees.

The feast of turkey or ham with dressing, beans, mashed potatoes and a dessert was served Saturday.

The meal is free to seniors but donations are accepted. The Jaycees ask local businesses to sponsor the feast so that they may offer it for free.

Children of Jaycees members served as the wait staff. The Jaycees are a national organization dedicated to fostering leadership skills in their members, all younger members of the community. There are about 25 members in Lincoln.

The Jaycees partnered with Schwan's at the Senior Feast to raise funds for the Angel Tree project.

A portion of each sale was donated by Schwan's to the Jaycees. Schwan's has a history of helping local charities with fundraisers.
