BROADWELL -- James W. "Jim" Morris, 79,
of Broadwell, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

James W. "Jim" Morris, 79,of Broadwell, passed away
Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Sunday, December
02, 2012 at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in
Lincoln. Graveside services will be at 1PM on
Tuesday, December 04, 2012 at Zion Cemetery with Ron
Otto officiating.
Jim was born November 24, 1933 in Lincoln, IL., the
son of James Louis and Evelyn (Howerton) Morris. He
married Wanda L. Gaston on November 24, 1951. She
preceded him in death on December 23, 2010.

Surviving are his mother Evelyn Brown of Tavaras,
FL., son Gary (Velma) Morris of Lincoln, IL.,
grandchildren: James S. Cook of Phoenix, AZ., Brian
S. Cook (Tracey) of Washington, IL., Wendy (Tyrone)
Carlton of Lincoln, IL., and Heather (Jon) Fulk of
Minneapolis, MN. Nine great grandchildren, two great
great grandchildren, brother Don (Susan) Morris of
CO., sister Nita (Stan) Rybolt of Lincoln, IL., and
sister Elnora "Ellie" (Bill) Young of Tavaras, FL.
Also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, his step
mother Lillian Morris, his wife, and sisters Joan
Sanders and Mary Ellen Scott.
Memorial donations may be made to the Harvest of
Talents for World Hunger at Lincoln Christian
Church.
