Sunday afternoon Gail's Pumpkin Patch was nonstop busy as hundreds of folks decided to visit the farm on a perfectly sunny and cool day.

Gail's is owned by Gail and Dave Sasse and is located just a few short miles from Lincoln on Illinois Route 10 toward Clinton.

On Sunday the business was helping to raise awareness of breast and cervical cancer as well as money that will be donated to organizations that support cancer research.

Marcia Dowling of the Logan County Department of Public Health was on hand to visit with people and talk to them about raising awareness of this deadly disease.

It doesn't take long to get into the Halloween mood at Gail's.

One small sample of the excellent food products that are on sale inside the barn.

A very simple yet stunning centerpiece.

This lovely piece by carving artist Renee Hubal was just one of several silent auction items.
