Joseph Pelc, 96, of Lincoln, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at St.
Clara's Manor.

Lincoln- Joseph Pelc, 96, of Lincoln passed away on
Sunday, October 7, 2012 at St. Clara's Manor.
Joe was born on February 27, 1916 in Lincoln the son
of Polish immigrants John and Antonina (Rudzienski)
Pelc.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three
brothers.
Surviving are two sons: Joseph M. (Lisa) Pelc of
Sherman, Gregory M. Pelc (Terri Noel) of
Springfield. Granddaughter: Samantha Pelc of Sherman
, Grandson : Joseph Cory (Jenna) Pelc of Auburn.
Step daughter: Lorene Pelc Wilham (Norman) and
daughter: Shekinah of Bixby, Oklahoma. Several
nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pelc was in business for 70 years owning
Publicity Sign Service.
He was a member of Eagles Lodge #2708, Elks Lodge
#914, American Legion Post #263, and the
Railsplitter Coin Club.
He served in the United States Army during WWII
serving stateside and in Europe.
His hobbies were varied including fishing,
gardening, ballroom dancing, and coin collecting.
He was a member of the former St. Mary's Roman
Catholic Parish in Lincoln.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October
10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home
in Lincoln. Rev. Glenn Fontana will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of
service on Wednesday at the Peasley Funeral Home.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln.
