Kay Hahn Sawyer, 78, of Springfield, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at
Lewis Memorial Christian Village.

Kay Hahn Sawyer, 78, of Springfield, passed away
October 1, 2012 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon
Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Holland Barry &
Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL. Funeral
services will be at 12:00 Noon also at the funeral
home with Tom Novey officiating. Burial will follow
in New Union Cemetery, Lincoln, IL.
Kay was born November 19, 1933 in Lincoln, IL., the
daughter of Leo Henry and Frances Helen (Gehlbach)
Hahn. She married David K. Sawyer on May 2, 1954. He
preceded her in death on August 26, 2009.

Surviving are her daughter Diane Kay Hoots of New
Berlin, IL.; her son Mark (Nancy) Sawyer of Niwot, CO.; and
her grandchildren: Beth Hoots, Kendall Sawyer, and Madeline
Sawyer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David,
and sisters Phyllis Schneider and Grace Edwards.
