'Taken 2' repeats at No. 1 with $21.9M weekend

[October 16, 2012]  LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Liam Neeson remained the top gun at the weekend box office as his action sequel "Taken 2" took in $21.9 million.

"Taken 2" edged out Ben Affleck's "Argo," which debuted a solid No. 2 with $19.5 million.

The top 20 movies at U.S. and Canadian theaters Friday through Sunday, followed by distribution studio, gross, number of theater locations, average receipts per location, total gross and number of weeks in release, as compiled Monday by Hollywood.com are:
