Illinois country grain prices were
higher on Wednesday afternoon.
Soybean futures were supported by
a strong cash market and good export interest.
Corn futures moved up due to
stronger soybean values and the lower value of the US dollar.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 8 cents higher 7.22-7.40.
Soybean bids were 15 to 18 cents
higher at 14.79-14.87.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 7 cents higher at 7.34-7.52.
Soybean bids were 15 to 16 cents
higher at
14.91-15.04.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 7 to 8
cents higher at 7.39-7.58.
Soybean bids were 10 to 15 cents
higher at 14.84-15.00.
Wheat bids were 12 to 13 cents
higher at 8.23-8.41.
