Malinda A. Stanfield, 66, of Chatham, died at 9:30
pm, Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at her residence. She
was born August 12, 1946, in Jacksonville, to
William C. and Julia E. Cochran. She married Edward
“Ed” Stanfield on September 7, 1968 and he survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Ed (Kelly) Stanfield,
Jr. of Rochester, Bill (Lisa) Stanfield of Chatham
and Joe Stanfield of Springfield; four
grandchildren, Brennan and Caleb Stanfield and
Katlynn and Olivia Clardy; two brothers, William H.
(Mary) Cochran of Columbia, SC and Michael R. “Mick”
(Judy) Cochran of Jamestown, RI and several nephews.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Malinda was the Secretary/Treasurer and owner of
Glenn Brunk Stationers. She was very devoted to the
business.
Visitation: 4-7 pm, Monday, October 22, 2012
at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 10 am, Tuesday, October 23,
2012 at Staab Funeral with Chaplin John Nelson
officiating. Burial will follow at Virden Cemetery.
