			During the Hartem Fall
Carnival last Saturday at the Emden Grade School, lots of
prizes and goodies were handed out.

			Classes from kindergarten to
			eighth grade created silent
auction baskets for those in attendance to bid on. Each basket was
filled to the brim with items like car washing equipment, candy,
movie night essentials and beauty products.

			Local businesses donated
gift certificates and services for the silent auction as well. Dr.
Frank Adubato and his staff were on hand to show visitors where
their back pain was located and how to fix it.

			There were many games for
kids to play in order to win more prizes. In the cafeteria, visitors
could purchase snacks like freshly made popcorn. There was also a
large cake walk. The event was a success for
			fundraising and for everyone's enjoyment.
