Wayne V. Munsch, 97, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at
10:55 p.m. at The Christian Village Nursing Home.

Lincoln- Wayne V. Munsch, 97, of Lincoln died at
10:55 p.m. on Tuesday October 16, 2012 at The
Christian Village Nursing Home.
Wayne was born on October 14, 1915 to Clarence E.
and Minnie Teufel Munsch in Easton IL. He was united
in marriage to Juanita Hovey. She preceded him in
death in 1980. He was later united in marriage to
Gertrude Sparks. She survives in Lincoln. Other
survivors include his children: Betty J. Lahr of
Lincoln; Harry F. (Barbara) Munsch of Blanchard, OK;
Clarence W. (Janice) Munsch of Beason; Ruby (Terry)
Allen of Lincoln; Doris (Bob) Anderson of Lincoln;
sister: Mary Anderson of Bettendorf, IA; daughter in
law Kay Munsch; one step son: Dwain (Linda) Franz of
Lincoln and one step daughter: Janet (Marvin)
Johnson of New Holland; 23 grandchildren, 20 great
grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by his parents, sons; Robert
and Edwin; and sister Thelma.

Wayne worked his entire life as a farmer, he
provided commercial corn shelling and hay bailing.
He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ
in Lincoln. Wayne loved spending time with his
family and he was a very devoted father.
Services for Wayne will be held at 2:00 p.m. on
Saturday October 20, 2012 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln
with Ryan Edgecombe officiating. A visitation will
be held an hour prior to the service on Saturday. A
private burial will be held at Easton Cemetery at a
later date. Memorials may be made to Memorial Home
Hospice and the Christian Village Living Center.
