An employee of the store, located on Woodlawn at the
intersection of Woodlawn and Lincoln Parkway, arrived Thursday
morning to find the glass front doors of the building broken.
Adams said this robbery involved the removal of merchandise from the
store and does not appear to be related to the robberies in the
downtown area earlier this month.
On Oct. 2, Lincoln police reported that nine businesses in the
downtown area had been broken into during the night. In all those
cases, the break-ins involved forceful entry with damage sustained
to the properties involved.

Adams at that time said the thieves appeared to be searching
primarily for cash and found very little.
On Thursday, Adams said those break-ins are still under
investigation.
Evidence has been collected from the scenes of the crimes and
sent off to a forensic laboratory.
Lincoln police were awaiting the results of the tests and once
those were received would move forward with the investigation.
