Germanfest bundles food, family, friends and fun into one great event

In addition to the regular menu inside, there was also an opportunity to get it to-go. Outside, on the west side of the church, tents were set up and meals were being offered in curb service style.

After all that food, a person might just need to rest a spell.

Some folks were too busy eating to worry about visiting. That could come after all the food is devoured.

 

A familiar face, Toni Reifsteck was helping with trash collection and clearing tables for diners.

In the entryway of the church, a Boy Scout troop was offering popcorn and crafts for sale.

 

Even so, they still had the chance to enjoy some great German food.

Outside, warmers keep everything at the right temperature for the drive-thru service.

And of course you can't have brats and dogs without someone manning a grill.  Compliments to the cooks, every bite was terrific.
