Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Tuesday afternoon, with soybeans higher and corn and
wheat futures lower.
Slow export demand and a lower Dow
Jones index weighed on corn values.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 4 to 6 cents lower at 7.33-7.49.
Soybean bids were 6 to 10 cents
higher at 15.21-15.33.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 3 to 6 cents lower at 7.45-7.65.
Soybean bids were 6 to 8 cents
higher at 15.36-15.48.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 4 to 6
cents lower at 7.28-7.68.
Soybean bids were 5 to 8 cents
higher at 15.28-15.43.
Wheat bids were 5 to 10 cents
lower at 8.36-8.54.
