Eva Mae Dahmm, 79, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at 1:17
p.m. at St. John's Hospice, Springfield.

LINCOLN-Eva Mae Dahmm, 79, of Lincoln, died at St.
John's Hospice, Springfield, IL on Tuesday, October
23, 2012 at 1:17 p.m.
Mrs. Dahmm was born in Edgewater, Colorado, March
20, 1933, the daughter of Thomas and Irene Boullion
Hunter. She married George W. Dahmm on January 1,
1951 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death April 6,
2012.
Eva is survived by four daughters: Georgia (Bill)
Allison of Lincoln; Muriel (John) Barnard of
Lincoln; Laura (Charlie) Tomlinson of Beason; Vivian
(Gerardo) Valdes of Lincoln, IL.; seven
grandchildren: Will (Mandy) Tomlinson, Athens, IL;
Jason (Heather) Tomlinson of Lincoln; Lewis (Kelli)
Allison of Lincoln; Elise Valdes of Lutz, FL; Esther
(Kyle Farmer) Tomlinson of Elkhart; Fay Allison,
Lincoln; Alejandro Valdes of Lincoln; Step
grandchildren: Linda (John) Karr; of Altus, OK; Lisa
(Forrest) Bell of Burley, ID; ten great
grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,
and daughter, Donna Marie.
Mrs. Dahmm was a homemaker and member of Good
Shepherd Lutheran Church of Lincoln. Eva enjoyed
sewing, needlework and she loved to dance and went
to many dance clubs. She was a 4-H leader and a
member of SHHH. Eva loved her family fellowship
following Sunday worship.
Services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2012 at
9:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of
Lincoln with Rev. Clarence Mankin officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 26 from 4:00-7:00
p.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Burial
will be in Old Union Cemetery, Lincoln. Memorials
may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or St.
John's Hospice. Services were entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
