Illinois country grain prices were
mostly lower on Tuesday afternoon.
Trading activity was slower as
traders prepared for Wednesday mornings release of the USDA's
reports.
Technical trading and profit
taking ahead of those reports weakened corn, soybeans and wheat
futures.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 2 to 4 cents lower at 7.55-7.86.
Soybean bids were 15 to 24 cents
lower at
16.71-16.79.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 2 to
5 cents lower at 7.81-7.93.
Soybean bids were mostly 12 to 16
cents lower at 17.00-17.17.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 7 to
11 cents lower
at 7.70-8.03.
Soybean bids were 17 to 18 cents
lower at 16.78-16.92.
Wheat bids were 6 to 8 cents lower
at 8.47-8.69.
