[September 13, 2012]  NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) -- An international rights group says Kenyan authorities should expand investigations into the alleged roles of three politicians in clashes in Kenya's southeast which have killed at least 110 people in three weeks.

President Mwai Kibaki late Wednesday sacked assistant Livestock Development Minister Dhado Godhana after he was charged in court with incitement in the violence.

Human Rights watch said Thursday that their investigations show that three more politicians could be involved in the violence between the semi-nomadic Orma tribe of herders and the Pokomo who are mostly farmers.

The U.N. and Red Cross say on the surface the feud appears to be over land and water resources but the redrawing of political boundaries and next year's general elections could be the cause.
