In the first half of play, Lincoln dominated possession and outshot
their opponents 8-1, but came up short on the scoreboard and trailed
1-0 at the break. In the second half, going into a strong wind,
Lincoln continued to control the flow of the game, and eventually
Tommy Harris found Ryan Sloan with a nice pass for the first goal of
the game. With the assist, Harris tied George Kennet's record for
career assists at 17. Harris, a senior, netted a goal of his own
with 5 minutes remaining in regulation, and the Railers won 2-1.
For Lutheran, it was only their second loss of the season.
