Illinois country grain prices were
sharply lower on Monday afternoon, especially soybeans.
Technical selling, fund selling
and profit taking at the Board of Trade pushed grain prices
lower.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 31 to 34 cents lower at 7.18-7.56.
Soybean bids were mostly 70 cents
lower at 16.34-16.49.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 34 to 36 cents lower at 7.47-7.62.
Soybean bids were 84 to 85 cents
lower at 16.50-16.64.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 34 to
37 cents lower at 7.35-7.66.
Soybean bids were 73 to 80 cents
lower at 16.43-16.60.
Wheat bids were 40 to 42 cents
lower at 8.45-8.64.
