Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Thursday afternoon, with soybeans sharply lower.
Due to pressure from the outside
markets, grain prices were pushed lower.
Fund and technical selling at the
Board of Trade also helped to push prices lower.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 19 to 24 cents lower at 6.97-7.12.
Soybean bids were 38 cents lower
at 15.40-15.55.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 19 to 21 cents lower at 7.19-7.36.
Soybean bids were 41 to 42 cents
lower at 15.52-15.68.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 22 to
29 cents lower at 7.11-7.37.
Soybean bids were 41 to 44 cents
lower at 15.43-15.66.
Wheat bids were 17 to 19 cents
lower at 8.30-8.49.
