Eva I. Hayter, 89, of Lincoln, formerly of Beason, died Friday,
March 29, 2013, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Lincoln- Eva I. Hayter, 89, of Lincoln formerly of
Beason passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013 at
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
No funeral services are scheduled. Cremation Rites
have been accorded.
Burial will be at a later date at Keyes Cemetery in
rural Beason.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
Eva I. Howen was born on July 28, 1923 in North
Dakota the daughter of John and Olive Howen. She
married Robert Hayter on August 15, 1942. He
preceded her in death in November, 2003.
She is survived by three daughters: Joyce Gleason of
Lincoln, Jacquelyn (Michael Craig ) Zaffiri of
Bloomington, Peggy (Mike) Tackett of Lincoln. Many
grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild also survives.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and three
sisters.
Eva was the owner of Bob and Eva's Café in Beason
from 1957 until 1967.
Later, Eva's love of painting became a career as
well as a pastime.

She was a loving Mother and Grandmother.
Eva's family would like to thank the staff of
Christian Village Nursing Home for the care and love
that was shown to Eva during her stay at the home.
Memorials may be made to the Logan County Paramedics
Association, the Lupus Foundation or to the charity
of the donor's choice.
