Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Tuesday afternoon, with wheat and soybeans higher and
corn lower.
Higher wheat futures were
supported by low crop condition ratings for the US wheat crop.
Possible increases in the corn
carryout and a slow export market weighed on corn values.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 3 to 5 cents lower at 6.37-6.57.
Soybean bids were mostly 3 to 6
cents higher at 13.81-14.05.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were mostly 1 to 2 cents lower at 6.50-6.62.
Soybean bids were 4 to 6 cents
higher at 14.04-14.18.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly
1 to 3 cents lower at 6.22-6.74.
Soybean bids were mostly 2 to 3
cents higher at 14.09-14.24.
Wheat bids were mostly 11 to 12
cents higher at 6.61-6.79.
