Donnabelle Pech, 87, of Lincoln, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at
11:40 a.m. at Christian Village Nursing Home.

Lincoln- Donnabelle Pech, 87, of Lincoln passed away
at 11:40 A.M. on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at
Christian Village Nursing Home in Lincoln.
Donnabelle was born at the Deaconess Hospital in
Lincoln on June 4, 1925, daughter of George Victor
and Emma H. Begolka Opperman Sr. She was united in
marriage to Harold Pech on December 24, 1945, at St. John United Church
of Christ in Lincoln. He preceded her
in death on April 29, 1998.
Survivors include her son Randy (Betsy) Pech of
Lincoln; daughter Carolyn Pech of Lincoln; sisters:
Emma Lou Lemon of Kankakee, IL; Jewell (George) Zook
of Jacksonville, IL; sister in law: Ruth Opperman of
Lincoln; granddaughters: Allicent (Richard) Bruder
and Colleen Pech; and great grandchildren: Miley,
Lilly, and Collin Bruder. She was preceded in death
by her parents, son: Roger; brother: George Opperman
Jr., and great grandson.

Donnabelle was a member of St. John United
Church of Christ in Lincoln, she was a on the church council, and she
was a Sunday school teacher. She retired from Lincoln
Community High School after working for 20 years.
Services for Donnabelle will be held at 10:00 A.M. on
Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at St. John United Church of Christ in
Lincoln with Rev. Jan Johnson and Rev. Wallace Reifsteck
officiating. A visitation will be held from 4-7:00 P.M. at
the church on Tuesday April 2. Burial will follow the
service at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln. Memorials may be
made to St. John United Church of Christ in Lincoln.
Services were entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in
Lincoln.
