[April 06, 2013]  SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) -- The TV comedy "The Office" is marking the end of its long run with a wrap party in the Pennsylvania city where it's based.

The Times-Tribune newspaper (http://bit.ly/Z5o29N ) says cast and crew members related to the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Co. will visit Scranton next month.

It says the event was announced Thursday at a Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (WILKS'-ba-ree) RailRiders minor league baseball game and will involve several activities in the city on May 4.

The festivities include a breakfast for fans, a panel discussion with the show's writers and a parade. There also will be a cast question-and-answer session and a sneak peek at the last episode.

The Steve Carell show ends its nine-year run on NBC on May 16.

An October 2007 "Office" convention in Scranton lasted several days and was attended by thousands of fans.
