Doilene Hawkins, 82, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at
St. Clara's Manor.

Doilene Hawkins, 82, of Lincoln, passed away April
03, 2013 at St. Clara's Manor in Lincoln.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, April
13, 2013 at Second Baptist Church in Lincoln with
Reverend Glenn Shelton officiating. Burial will
follow in New Union Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation
will be from 10 AM until 11AM also on Saturday at
the church. Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home
is handling arrangements.
Doilene was born April 13, 1930 in Springfield, IL.,
the daughter of John and Delores (Davis) Hickman.
She was a member of Second Baptist Church, the
Second Baptist Church Mother's Board, the Second
Baptist Church Choir, was a pianist for the church,
and was an avid softball player.

Surviving are her children: Stanley Hawkins of South
America, Cheryl (Michael) Brown of Kentucky, and
Tonya Glenn of Lincoln; her son in law Michael Glenn
of Lincoln; grandchildren: Damien, Michael Jr.,
Mary, LaShonda, Kia, Richard, Asia, Sergio, Stan
Jr., Stephen, Brandon, Maiya, and Leah; and great
grandchildren Carmen and Chelsea.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial donations may be made to Second Baptist
Church.
