Robert T. Lenhardt Sr., 83, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013,
at 7:55 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

LINCOLN-Robert T. Lenhardt, Sr., 83, of Lincoln
passed away at 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013
at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL.
Robert was born February 3, 1930, in Lincoln, IL,
the son of Jacob and Mildred (Daniels) Lenhardt,
both of whom preceded him in death. He was their
only child.
Robert was baptized, confirmed and a lifetime member
of St. John United Church of Christ in Lincoln. He
graduated from Lincoln High School in 1948 and
worked at Lehn and Fink Cosmetics Corporation for 48
years until he retired in 1995. During this time he
also worked as a manager at the Lincoln Theatre for
24 years. Mr. Lenhardt served in the United States
Army as a Wire Sergeant in Korea from 1951-1953.

Robert is survived by his wife, Marcella (Moore)
Lenhardt. They were married June 17, 1951 at the
Methodist Church in Stonington, IL and were married
for 61 years. Also surviving are his son, Robert E.
Lenhardt of Lincoln, IL; daughter, Laurie (Lenhardt)
Libman and her husband Paul Libman of Atlanta, GA;
and two grandchildren, Amelia Libman and Sam Libman
of Atlanta, GA. He was a loving and devoted husband,
father, uncle, cousin, grandfather and friend who
will be deeply missed by all.
Services for Robert will be Saturday, April 13 at
2:00 p.m. at St. John United Church of Christ of
Lincoln with Rev. Jan Johnson and Rev. Robert Long
officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to
the service at the church. Burial will be in New
Union Cemetery, Lincoln with full military rites
accorded by Lincoln American Legion Post #263.
Memorials may be given to St. John United Church of
Christ. Services were entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln, IL.
