MOUNT PULASKI -- Daniel L.
Dewitt, 45, of Mount Pulaski, died Saturday, April 13, 2013, at his
home.

Mt. Pulaski- Daniel L. Dewitt, 45, of Mt. Pulaski
passed away on April 13, 2013 at his home.
Daniel was born on April 12, 1968 in Lincoln, son of
Austin and Ellen Louise Funderburk Dewitt Jr. He was
united in marriage to Sheryl Dambacher on April 4,
1992 in Lake Fork, IL. She survives him. Other
survivors include his parents; his brother Gary
(Jane) Dewitt of Mt. Pulaski; his sister Cynthia
(Gary) McKay of Lincoln; and his nephew Andrew
Dewitt of Mt. Pulaski. He was preceded in death by
his grandparents.
Daniel worked in maintenance at Wal-Mart. Daniel
loved to ride motorcycles and he collected Native
American artifacts.

Cremation rites were accorded. A private burial will
take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the
family, to the American Cancer Society, or to the Logan
County Humane Society. Funeral arrangements are being
handled by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt.
Pulaski.
