[April 19, 2013]  URBANA -- Central Illinois Sustainable Farming Network will offer the following workshops: 

  • "Small Farm Machinery and Your Body: Use Both Wisely" -- May 11
    Time: Registration 9:45-10 a.m. Workshop 9:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
    Location: Spence Farm -- Phelps Schoolhouse, 2959 N. 2050 East Road, Fairbury, Livingston County

  • "Taking Your Farm to the Next Level: Equipment for Scaling Up Production" -- June 8
    Time: Registration 1:45-2 p.m. Workshop 2-4:30 p.m.
    Location: PrairiErth Farm, 2047 County Road 2100 N., Atlanta, Logan County

  • "Intensive Grazing on 10 Acres" -- June 15
    Time: Registration 8:30-9 a.m. Workshop 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
    Location: Kraal Farm, 9223 Bell Fountain Road, Dawson, Sangamon County

  • "Growing Your Sustainable Farm Business: A Producers Perspective" -- July 13
    Time: 3-7 p.m.
    Location: Living Waters Farm, 29695 E. 100 North Road, Strawn, and South Pork Ranch, 32796 E. 750 North Road, Chatsworth, Livingston County

  • "Driving and Maintaining Your Small Tractor" -- Aug. 11
    Time: 3-6 p.m.
