While honeybees and bumblebees are the most recognizable, there
are many types of bees that live in Illinois. In this program,
students learn about the life cycles of bees, where they live and
why they are so important to the environment.
Registration and prepayment are required. For ages 5-8, the fee
is $8 for members of the nature center and $10 for nonmembers. For
ages 9 and up, the fee is $10 for members and $12 for nonmembers.
