LCHS Red Carpet Runway and Grand March on May 4

[April 20, 2013]  Main Street Lincoln will present the 24th annual pre-prom event for Lincoln Community High School students and the community. The LCHS "A Night in Central Park" Prom Red Carpet Runway and Grand March will be at the Logan County Courthouse on May 4.

Everyone is invited to enjoy the weekend as many downtown businesses will offer "Red Carpet" special sales and discounts.

The Red Carpet Runway, sponsored in part by Lincoln College, will be hosted by reigning Miss Logan County Danielle Juilfs and Lisa, the FIX96 prize girl.

Lincoln Mayor Keith Snyder and Main Street Lincoln director Bill Hoagland will kick off the Grand March, with master of ceremonies Steve Sauer on hand announcing for his 24th year.

Live music will be provided by Holly Payne-Moore DJ Service.

The Red Carpet Runway will begin at 4 p.m. at the north entrance of the courthouse, on Broadway Street. The Grand March will begin at 6 p.m. at the south entrance of the courthouse, on Pulaski Street.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be at Roy S. Anderson Gymnasium at LCHS, with the same times applicable. WLCN-FM 96.3 will keep listeners updated, beginning at 1 p.m., in the event of a venue change.
