Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Thursday afternoon.
Beneficial weather in the weather
forecast for the cornbelt, including rain and moderate
temperatures pulled grain prices lower.
Weekly export sales for new crop
corn and soybeans were higher than expected but not enough to
pull prices higher.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 9 to 11 cents lower at 5.60-5.78.
Soybean bids were 18 to 19 cents
lower at 13.13-13.46.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 4 to 9 cents lower at 5.86-6.08.
Soybean bids were 7 to 12 cents
lower
at 13.24-13.41.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 11
cents lower at 5.77-6.08.
Soybean bids were mostly 21 to 33 cents lower at 13.32-13.68.
Wheat bids were 5 to 6 cents lower at 6.38-6.69.
