Tuesday morning Ethan Bertram was the winner
of the day in the 4-H Poultry Show as he walked away with grand champion
			chicken.
Ethan received the Maxine Maxheimer Memorial
trophy, which was presented to him by the family of Maxine Maxheimer:
Dale Maxheimer, son; Tessa Schumm, granddaughter; Teresa Strampp,
			daughter; and Tanner Strampp, grandson.
Members of the Maxheimer family joined Bertram
for a photo of the event.

The Award Shop sponsored the award for champion waterfowl, won by Ethan
Bertram. Megan Opperman stood in for the Award Shop during Ethan's
			presentation.

  Ethan
also won the three awards for his tom and hen turkeys. While he
was a little under the weather during the fair, his sisters Emily
and Ashley assisted him for the awards. Emily is shown holding the
tom, while Ethan holds the hen. The kids are all home-schooled and
have chosen the animals they prefer. Ethan chose birds. They say the
birds are his friends, and he really enjoys and cares for them.
