Wednesday night was 4-H night in front of the
grandstand at the Logan County Fair. The highlight of the
evening was the various scrambles for farm animals, but there were
several other special events as well.
The night began with a salute to our great
nation as everyone honored the United States flag.
Throughout the evening, as the scrambles
graduated from small children chasing wily chickens to teenagers
tackling calves, there were breaks for other special recognitions.
Included in those breaks was the announcement
of the 2013 4-H scholarship recipients and a recognitions of this
year's 4-H members who are high school graduates.
There was also a new attraction, the local
personalities scramble.
