LOVELAND, Colo. -- Naomi A. Niewold,
96, of Loveland, Colo., died July 12, 2013, at her home.

Naomi A. Niewold 96, of Loveland, Co. passed away at
her home on July 12, 2013.
Born Oct. 26, 1916 at Lawndale, Il. to Cleve McCombs
and Myrtle Nichols-McCombs, she was the second of
seven daughters. All preceded her in death. She
attended school in Atlanta, Il., graduating in 1935.
On March 11, 1938 she married Don Niewold in
Lincoln,
Il. They moved to Colorado in 1944 and resided in
Colorado Springs, Denver, Golden, and Wheat Ridge
before settling in Loveland in 1963 where Don worked
for Hewlett-Packard Co. until his death in 1967. He
was 53.
Naomi was a homemaker and enjoyed the company of
friends in the Foothills Service League playing
pinochle. She was a member of the Order of Eastern
Star, and the United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Jeanne Bergey of
Loveland, Co., two grandchildren, Chris Bergey
(Glenda) of Loveland, Co., and Jody Brown (Warren)
of Ft. Worth Tx., and one great-
grandchild, Kylie Bergey of Loveland, Co. Also
surviving are one nephew and several nieces,
including Pam (Dan) White of Lincoln, Il. and
Charlotte (Burns) Harrellson of Bloomington, Il.
Private family services will be held at Crown Hill
cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Co.
