Cardiologists Stephen Chen and Ish Singla join Springfield Clinic

SPRINGFIELD -- Springfield
Clinic has expanded its cardiology staff once more with the addition
of two new doctors. Stephen Chen, D.O., and Ish Singla, M.D., will
join the Springfield Clinic in August.

As cardiologists, Dr. Chen and Dr. Singla offer comprehensive
evaluation and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, including
noninvasive, invasive and interventional cardiology. Chen received
his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and
Biosciences in Kansas City, Kan. He completed his internal medicine
residency at Cleveland Clinic Educational Foundation in Cleveland,
Ohio. He was then awarded a fellowship in cardiovascular disease
from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga. Following the
completion of his fellowship training, Chen completed a second
fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of
Florida/Shands-Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Fla.
Singla earned his medical degree from the All India Institute of
Medical Sciences in New Delhi, Delhi, India. He completed an
internal medicine residency from the University of Pittsburgh
Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was awarded a fellowship in
cardiovascular disease from the University of Alabama School of
Medicine in Birmingham, Ala., then completed a second fellowship in
interventional cardiology at University of Illinois Advocate Christ
Medical Center in Chicago.
