Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Tuesday afternoon, but mostly lower.
A chance of rain in the extended
weather forecast for the northern areas of the cornbelt helped
to push corn prices lower.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 12 to 17 cents lower at 5.65-5.85.
Soybean bids were mixed at
13.38-13.58.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 12 to 17 cents lower at 5.60-5.88.
Soybean bids were steady to 2
cents higher at 13.62-13.82.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 12 to
17 cents lower at 5.25-5.76.
Soybean bids were mixed at
13.15-13.63.
Wheat bids were 6 to 10 cents
lower at 5.93-6.19.
