(Copy) Illinois country grain
prices were higher on Wednesday afternoon.
Export interest and export
sales helped to lift corn and soybean futures.
Wednesday morning the USDA
announced the sale of 110,000 tonnes of US soybeans to China,
with South Korea and Taiwan buying US corn.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 5 to 10 cents higher at 5.70-5.95.
Soybean bids were mixed at
13.34-13.63.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 9 to 10 cents higher at 5.69-5.98.
Soybean bids were 11 cents
higher at 13.73-13.93.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 10
cents higher at 5.35-5.86.
Soybean bids were mostly 11
cents higher at 13.20-13.74.
Wheat bids were mostly 3 cents
higher at 5.95-6.16.
