Illinois country grain prices were higher on Wednesday
afternoon.
Technical trading at the Board of Trade along with the concern
of an extended dry weather forecast helped corn and soybean
futures to close higher.
Wheat futures were supported by export sales and an increase in
export interest.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were mostly 12 to 14 cents higher at
6.11-6.28.
Soybean bids were mostly 14 to 22 cents higher at 13.87-14.01.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 15 to 17 cents higher at 6.18-6.35.
Soybean bids were 7 to 9 cents higher at 14.21-14.44.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 14
cents higher at 5.68-6.14.
Soybean bids were mostly 13 to 17 cents higher at 13.78-14.04.
Wheat bids were 5 cents higher at 6.04-6.24.
