MOUNT PULASKI -- Jo Aylesworth,
71, of Mount Pulaski, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at 12:05 p.m. at
Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Mt. Pulaski- Jo Aylesworth, 71, of Mt. Pulaski
passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 12:05 p.m.
at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Jo was born on August 19, 1942 in Lincoln the
daughter of Harry A. and Rose H. Donuth Gipson. She
married Richard "Dick" Aylesworth on April 4, 1961
in Pittsfield. He preceded her in death on August
16, 1980.
Surviviving her are her two sons: Rick (Debby)
Aylesworth and Randy (Kelly) Aylesworth, all of Mt.
Pulaski. One sister: Judy Wolpert of Lincoln. Six
grandchildren: Dustin, Chase, Kamryn, Lukas, Dixon
and Clay.
Preceding her in death are her parents, one sister:
Janet Henrichsmeyer and infant brother Benjamin.
Jo graduated from Lincoln Community High School in
1960.
She was a custodian at the Mt. Pulaski Grade School
for ten years.
Jo was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in
Mt. Pulaski.
She was an avid Cubs fan, loved to feed her birds
and take care of her plants and flowers.

Graveside Services for Jo will be held on Saturday,
August 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Steenbergen Cemetery in Mt. Pulaski
with Rev. Steve Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church,
223 West Cook St., Mt. Pulaski, Illinois.
Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral
