ATLANTA -- Sharon J. Ealy, 71, of
Atlanta, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at 7:28 a.m. at Hopedale
Medical Complex, Hopedale.

ATLANTA-Sharon J. Ealy, of Atlanta, IL died at 7:28
a.m. August 23, 2013 at Hopedale Medical Complex,
Hopedale, IL.
Sharon was born on December 9, 1941 in Elkhart, IL
the daughter of Ira F. and Helen Laughner Overbey.
She married Ronald L. Ealy on September 15, 1978 in
Lincoln, IL.

Mrs. Ealy was a homemaker and member of First
Baptist Church of Lincoln.
Services for Sharon will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August
27, 2013 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln
with Robert Williams officiating. Burial will be in
Elkhart Cemetery, Elkhart, IL. Visitation will be Monday
evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials
may be given to American Cancer Society or St. Jude's
Children's Research.
Sharon is survived by her mother of Lincoln; husband
of Atlanta, IL; three sons: Paul (Brenda) Goodwin of
Atlanta; Rodney (Ruby) Goodwin of Lincoln; and
Travis (Mary) Goodwin of Elkhart; two daughters:
Angel F. Goodwin of Lincoln; Kelly (Roscoe) Embery
of Atlanta; two brothers: David (Luana) Overbey of
Texas; Tom (Linda) Overbey of Chestnut, IL; one
sister: Darlene Naugle of Lawndale; and fourteen
grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her father; one sister; and
one nephew.
